Super broth pack

Super broth pack

SKU: PRCF_008

Package contains 3 lbs. of amazing broth ingredients.  Each pack contains a chicken back, chicken feet, sometimes wing tips or parts damaged during processing.  Chicken feet are not common in the US, but are a delicacy in some parts of the world.  My great grandma loved them.  They also make delicious broth very high in collagen and chondroitin.

Making broth has just become regular kitchen routine for us.  We use the broth to make rice, beans of various kinds, soups, gravies, and as a substitute for milk in many recipes.  I think it is one of the most healthy things I feed my family.

    Our Best-Broth Reciepe:

    •    3 pounds chicken feet (or any chicken bones)
    •   1-2 oz of dried sea-weed
    •   2-3 oz of dried turkey-tail mushrooms
    •   1/4 cup home-made apple cider vinegar
    •   1 teaspoon salt
    •   1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    •   1 sprig of rosemary
    •    water to cover all ingredients or more if preferred

Only the bones, water and some vinegar are necessary, the rest are bonus options.  Simmer on the stove for at least 2 hours, or pressure cook for 2 hours.  I do mine in the Instant Pot in the evening and let it keep warm overnight.  In the morning I pour it into quart jars and store in the fridge.  It keeps well for at least a month.
